Arccos Approved for Use in PGA TOUR Events

Golf’s #1 Game Tracker Now Available to Professionals on PGA TOUR,
PGA TOUR Champions, Korn Ferry Tour and PGA TOUR Americas

STAMFORD, Conn., January 10, 2024Arccos – the world’s largest on-course tracking system, a leader in connected A.I. golf products and the Official Game Tracker of the PGA TOUR – today announced that Arccos has been approved for use in competition on the PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions, Korn Ferry Tour and PGA TOUR Americas, effective immediately.

Other than ShotLink powered by CDW, Arccos is the only game tracking system approved for use on the PGA TOUR and its affiliated Tours. Already permissible for use under the Rules of Golf, Arccos automatically tracks the location, club used and result of every shot taken on the course. It then provides personalised Strokes Gained analytics for every game aspect and each club in a player’s bag.

“This approval furthers our great relationship with the PGA TOUR, which has long understood and valued game tracking during tournament competitions via the real-time data collected by ShotLink powered by CDW,” said Sal Syed, Arccos CEO & Co-Founder.

Arccos has built golf’s largest on-course dataset, which now includes more than 850 million shots and 1.5 trillion data points recorded during nearly 18 million rounds played by Arccos members. The system, which consists of a sensor in each club grip that pairs with a mobile app, has long been trusted by elite players worldwide.

“Technology is at the heart of so much of the experience we offer players competing across our Tours,” said Andy Levinson, Senior Vice President of Tournament Administration at the PGA TOUR. “Arccos technology gives the world’s best players a new level of data they can utilise after their round to fine-tune their skills.”

Late last year, Arccos announced a strategic fundraising round featuring several of golf’s biggest brands and most impactful businesses, headlined by the PGA TOUR alongside PING, Inc., TaylorMade Golf Company, Cobra PUMA Golf and Topgolf Callaway Brands Corp. (NYSE: MODG) among others. The company’s focus: fully leverage and accelerate the growth of the game’s largest data set to help the entire golf ecosystem by allowing players, coaches, club fitters and product designers make smarter decisions that are based on real performance data.
